Solipsism is the idea that my reality is the only reality; that everyone else has no independent existence. In my current work, i am exploring this idea through memory and emotions; looking at the people close to me and hypothetically removing them from existence through different mediums.
This is a photo from a page in my work book. One of my initial ideas about the concept of solipsism. The writing at the top of the page is a quote i found when doing research on solipsism; 'The most fundamental tragedy of my life is that the ones i see do not exist and the one who exists i do not see' Kedar Joshi.
